Agency 29 Recognized for Excellence, Distinction at 2024 Communicator Awards

Rochester, New York (May 14, 2024) — Agency 29 is taking home three international awards from the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA) for notable branding, marketing, and multi-media work.

In the Communicator Awards, Agency 29 is overjoyed to have won an Award of Excellence for the DeltaBreed Identity and two Awards of Distinction for the Billsboro Winery Website and the Spilled Salt podcast. With over 3,000 entries received from across the US and around the world, the Communicator Awards is the largest and most competitive awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals.

 Agency 29’s design for the Billsboro Winery Website and the DeltaBreed Identity were also recognized in the “Best of NAMA 2024” awards by the National Agri-Marketing Association.

Agency 29 worked with Breeding Insight to create a name and brand identity for their software, DeltaBreed. The project included naming, logo development, and a Messaging Strategy based on foundational pillars of affordability, ease of use, efficiency, and accuracy. 

The DeltaBreed Identity received an Award of Excellence in the category of General-Logo – Government, Excellence 2024 with credit to Art Director – Olivia Wendt, Managing Director Colleen Crill, and former Creative Director, Courtney Carroway.

Billsboro Winery is a pillar of the community, and they sought a web experience that reflected the fine wines, beautiful space, and friendly atmosphere that customers experience on-site. The final results of the Billsboro strategy, logomark, and website provides a welcoming feeling that represents the winery, tying in mid-century modern Italian art styles that nod to co-owner Vinny Aliperti’s Italian heritage. 

The Billsboro Winery Website received an Award of Distinction in the category of General-Food & Drink with credit to Photographer Dan Roman, Graphic Designer Franca Graney, and Managing Director Colleen Crill.

Spilled Salt is an interview series in which agency Founder and podcast host Maureen Ballatori dives into the thrills and spills inherent to being a founder of a food, beverage, or agriculture business. The podcast is currently entering its fourth season and has featured notable guests including Alisha Albinder Camac of Hudson River Fruit Distributors, Matt Schrader of E. & J. Gallo Winery/Canandaigua Winery, and Chris Laughton of Farm Credit East.

The Spilled Salt podcast received an Award of Distinction in the category of Branded Series with credit to Host Maureen Ballatori, Strategist & Producer Jennifer Bosch Gyuricska, and Art Director Olivia Wendt.
