Inspo From Michela
It has been two years since I began my career with Agency 29. Looking back, so much has happened that it is tempting to share a list a mile long, but a few lessons stand out the most.
We’ve worked with such a diverse bunch of food, beverage, and agriculture brands in my time with Agency 29, yet I see the same pattern: companies spend months searching for the “perfect” marketing plan to reach their audience.
Here’s what I’ve learned—and it’s actually good news. There isn’t just one right answer.
The most successful companies we work with have figured this out. They test ideas quickly and learn from what works. While their competitors spend months planning, these brands are already running their third campaign.
The brands that win aren’t the ones with flawless plans. They’re the ones that adapt the fastest:
- They launch campaigns knowing they’ll improve along the way
- They create space for their teams to try new things and learn
- They track what really matters, then adjust based on real results
- They’re honest in their messaging; customers connect with brands that feel authentic
I’ve learned you don’t need to wait for the perfect moment or the perfect strategy. Start testing, learning, and building the skills your brand needs to stay relevant.
The market rewards action over endless planning. And that’s an opportunity, not a problem.
Put on Your Detective Hat for Serp Drops
Ranking drops can feel like a gut punch, but there’s usually a story behind the slump. Did a Google update or site change trigger it? Which queries and pages shifted, and why? Is it a ranking slide or simply less visibility or clicks? Are competitors swooping in, and where are users clicking instead? Take action by looking closely at which queries, pages, or sections lost visibility. Compare traffic patterns and SERP (Search Engine Results Page) features to see if rankings slipped or if search behavior shifted. Then, analyze who’s gained ground in your place. Look at their content, structure, and SERP presence to understand what they’re doing better, and how you can respond strategically.
Collaring Unicorn Dairy Tech
Ag‑tech startup Halter just hit unicorn status, locking in a $100 million Series D at a $1 billion valuation. Their smart collar system, which pairs with connectivity towers and a slick mobile app, lets farmers virtually fence, move, and monitor herds using sound and vibration. With U.S. ranchers facing labor challenges and aging workforces, Halter believes this tech will help smaller teams manage their herds more efficiently while boosting grazing outcomes and shrinking environmental impact. Expansion into American dairy country is already underway across 18 states.
