Branching Out: Helping a Plant-Based Brand Grow

Sweet Pea’s mission is to grow public awareness of the power of food as medicine and provide tools to make a whole food, plant-based lifestyle attainable for all. As a business deeply rooted in promoting health and wellness, Sweet Pea needed to build brand awareness and differentiate their offerings in a competitive market, effectively communicating the value of a whole food, plant-based lifestyle. Working closely with the Sweet Pea team, we refreshed their brand and produced a range of marketing tactics and collateral to drive awareness and engagement beyond its home base of Rochester, NY.

Inspo From Maureen

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about trust. There are few things more important, really. We want to trust our doctor. Our spouse. Our colleagues. We want to trust our gut and our intuition.

So what makes someone or something trusted? We talk about “fit” over here pretty often. Right fit clients. Right fit team members. Right fit campaigns.

When we feel like we have a good fit relationship with a client, we can pretty easily align on an approach to work, we can brainstorm freely, we can navigate decisions on what I like to call “the same side of the table.”

Sometimes I can feel a right fit right away. You know that feeling when you just click with someone?

The concept of trust and fit go hand in hand. Yet they’re both so non-tangible that it can be a hard thing to explain to someone. It’s either there, or its not.

I’d be curious to hear from you, devoted email newsletter reader, how do you know when you’ve built trust?
