How To Launch A Podcast

We began the Spilled Salt podcast as one small tactic, a relatively simple way to create the conversations we wanted to have about food, beverage, and agriculture. But it’s had a (somewhat surprisingly) big impact on the Agency. Listeners are asking more about who we are and what we do, but also, how we do it. And we’re happy to oblige, especially on that last one. Maureen & Jenn, our host and producer respectively, sat down to have a ‘how to launch a podcast’ conversation in this very special Spilled Salt episode.

Inspo From Maureen

Sometimes it can feel like there’s a big chasm between setting a goal and achieving it. That’s why when I’m working on incorporating a new goal into my workflow, I get hyper-focused on habit-building. Give yourself grace to ebb and flow with your momentum, but stay focused on moving forward.

READY FOR REDDIT?

Nobody is shocked to hear that, “Traditional search experiences are becoming less effective, and users seek more reliable, conversational answers”. Amidst this frustration, Reddit is rising to the challenge with authentic user-generated content that your brand can be a part of. If you want to have real, impactful conversations with your audience (and you’re here, so you do), then it’s time to establish a presence on Reddit.

SUSTAINABLE PACKAGING = COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE

Audiences want it and brands are scrambling to provide it. After all, when it comes to sustainability, one of the easiest, most demonstrable (and therefore impactful) shortcuts is packaging. We’re seeing announcements about PCR plastic and paper-based smoothie bowls from folks like KFC and Dole.
